360Hype was established in 2008 because of one thing:
My love for attending and/or attending events and seeing the success through comments of guests/hosts, and let’s not forget I was (still am!) very much an organised ‘freak’!.
I [Ruth Odunuga] graduated from university with a BA(Hons) Degree in Advertising & Marketing, so right from university I had a thing for being creative and working with people and I knew some day, one day, I’d have the chance to share my creativity and passion with others.
After university I went on to work with a few companies where I did Sales & Marketing, a lot of people said I had ‘the gift of the gab’ (I would use other words like…A Big Mouth!) and I think that did prove itself in my Sales roles, but it was when I got my hands on some ‘real’ Marketing work that I knew that that was where my talent lay. I enjoyed being an event planner, planning for meetings, events, campaigns, talking to people about the products and services etc and seeing the outcome of the successful events. To know that a lot of people were relying on me for an event to go well, was pressurising but as the same time exciting for me – It was like I was He-Man (well She-Ra!…And had ‘The Power!’.
I then went on to be a Marketing Manager and that involved double the pressure but all the same I loved my work.
After giving birth to my first son I decided that I would take the plunge and venture off on my own and do my own marketing consulting, and because I enjoyed being an event planner I thought these were two areas I could merge together into one business and it also keep me busy with my little boy.
I initially used friends and families events and businesses as my guinea pigs but after nearly a year of doing that I realised I was more than capable of doing this as a business – so I plunged even further… 360Hype Event Management was born.
At 360Hype we specialise in providing a personal 1-2-1 care to our clients, this being bridal, corporate or individuals. Our Motto is “To turn an individual/company into a client, then from a client into a Friend” This means we do not just treat our clients like individuals, but we build a unique 360Hype bond to allow our working relationship to be the best and most importantly bring out the best for them.
No event/marketing task is too small for us to put our skills to, we don’t even have to be the ones in full control, you may just want someone to write up a campaign for you or proof check a document – We can do it. You may just require waiters for an event or just want On The Day Coordination – We can do it.

We provide Event Management for Weddings, Launches, Birthdays, Awards, Exhibitions, Churches etc.
We provide Event Management services such as Venue/Supplier Sourcing, Waiters, Decorations, Branded Stationary & Materials, Coordination/Full Planning.
To sum up what we do there is a saying that says… “When you love what you do, you’ll never work another day in your life!” – We don’t work here at 360Hype Event Management!
